Every page of this site can be read without giving us anything. There is no account, no signup wall and nothing to dismiss. The enquiry form is the only place we ask for anything, and this page is mostly about that.
The commitment that matters most
We will never pass your details to a dealer without telling you who and asking you first. People who ask about selling an inherited collection are used to filling in one form and then being called by five buyers. That does not happen here. We do not sell enquiries.
What we collect
- If you use the enquiry form: your email, and optionally your name, phone, state, a rough description of what you have, and which page you sent it from.
- We store a one-way hash of your IP address to catch bots. The raw address is never written down.
- We never ask where you keep your coins, and we would rather you did not tell us. If you do, we delete it from the enquiry.
Cookies and measurement
We use two measurement tools. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views in aggregate and is cookieless. Google Analytics tells us which pages people actually find useful, and it does set cookies on your device so that a returning browser is recognised as the same one.
Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off, so nothing you read here is fed into an advertising profile or used to build a remarketing audience. Google truncates IP addresses before storing them. There are no advertising pixels, no social network trackers, and the contents of the enquiry form are never sent to any analytics tool. If you would rather not be counted, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on blocks it across every site you visit, and any tracker blocker does the same here.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links on the buying page may be affiliate links, which means the retailer knows the visit came from here and we may earn a commission on a purchase. They are labelled individually on that page. We do not send the retailer anything about you beyond the fact of the click, and we do not receive anything back about what you bought other than aggregate commission reporting.
Who processes it
- Vercel hosts the site. Neon stores the database. SendGrid delivers the confirmation email. Google Analytics measures page views.
- That is the complete list. No CRM, no advertising network, no data broker, no lead exchange.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the conversation is live plus a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete yours and we will, immediately, and we will confirm when it is done.
Your rights
Wherever you live you can ask what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. In California those are rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; in the UK or EU they are rights under the GDPR.
